Just reserved my room for the camp in September, now I’m all wired up looking forward to another great camp! If you missed last camp don’t miss this one! So, who’s going?
I was thinking.. since the AKKI camp is twice a year, and only in Las Vegas (sucks for us on the east coast).. wouldn't it be an interesting idea to have regional camps? not seminars.. just closed AKKI gatherings, held in joint by groups in say a 300 mile area or so.. driving distance for...

Does this stuff look like it's borrowed a few Kenpo moves? I'm not "dissing" it, but it does look like the stuff we've been doing for awhile now. I'm just curious-why not learn Kenpo instead?
First off, congratulations to all who were promoted. One of my instructors, Mr. Holgate, received his 7th degree, and I now have my first black belt :) Congratulations to my student Thor Evans on being promoted to 1st Degree Black Belt. One of my other students, Dana Taylor, also received his...
just working some techniques thursday and realized. circling the horizon is so similar to eye of the storm. except you're working from the outside, and there are stance changes.
I posted this question recently in the beginner's forum, and received very helpful feedback from a number of members. One was from Brother John, who suggested that I post my question on the AKKI forum. So, here it goes: I am looking into taking American Kenpo classes. However, there seems to be...

just curious if anyone has/had trouble with this technique.. its been stumping me alot lately. the first lock moreso than the second lock, the first (radius bone?) one has been tearing up my arm, has the answer been more conditioning for the arm, or a certain grip? does anyone know what this lock...
I was looking at the Arrowheads Kenpo Karate Studio website, and it mentions that there are DVDs being developed by the AKKI for students as home study aids. Does anyone have any more information regarding this? I've only been studying AKKI Kenpo for a very short while and the DVDs would be...
